Facts vs. Truth...
Which one are your heart and soul moved by? As "good Christians" we are automatically going to say, "truth" - but is that really how we live each day?
The "truth" about it is that each day we are moved, motivated and live by:
The facts we feel in our bodies
The facts we think about our lives
The facts we think about the world and how it works
The facts in our bank accounts
The facts of our relationships
The facts of our circumstances
The facts that surround our hopes, dreams and goals
Like - do you feel sick, even though Jesus says by His strips we were healed?
- Facts vs. Truth
Like - do you know you don't have enough education for that dream job when Jesus says you can do all things through Him who will strengthen you?
- Facts vs. Truth
Like - do you struggle with money from month to month when scripture says God is able to make you abound with all sufficiency for all things?
- Facts vs. Truth
God's Word is never ending, effective and unfailing TRUTH, no matter what our facts of life might actually be. Because most, if not all of those adverse facts that keep us separated from the truth of God's promises are actually "beta blockers" set up by the enemy to keep us from the power of God's Word!
(You'll earn about "Beta Blockers" in my Total Soul Success Seminar)
Psalm 30:5
"For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life:
weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. "
God is no longer angry!
We've spent far too many nights crying out to God and begging Him through our prayers for relief, deliverance and healing... all to no avail.
But morning is here - it's dawning on our joy!
Give Way to Truth!
Truth and Joy...
In a moment of praise after having come through a recent trial of faith, I experienced a flood of joy that made me realize I have spent too much time focused on the trials and how to get though them, over them or rid of them!
It wasn't until after the trial that I understood - I could have been pursuing the joy all along!
We can seek, pursue and focus on the JOY of the Lord in the midst of trial!
Find JOY in His promises
Find JOY in the midst of praise
Find JOY in His presence
Find JOY in His purpose for your life!
"You will show me the path of life: in your presence is fulness of joy;
at your right hand there are pleasures for evermore. "
- Psalm 16:11
The Lord is our JOY in every trial and trying situation! And a joyous soul is a prosperous soul, no matter what the facts of life might be!
